EEMA is the acronym for the EVENT & ENTERTAINMENT MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION, a registered non-profit body of companies, organisations and institutions operating in the event and entertainment management space across India.
In its inaugural year EEMAX AWARDS organized by EEMA earned the distinction of being called the Oscars of India's Event IndustryÂ. Dubbed as the first ever event industry awards, Krayon walked away with the giant share of the Awards.
The jury for the EEMAX Awards this year featured stalwarts Prasoon Joshi, Santosh Desai, Hemant Bakshi, Shripad Nadkarni, Hemant Sachdev, Mahesh Madhavan and Sunil Lulla.
The Awards were given to 23 companies in all, from among the 700 entries received from 44 companies. A total of 23 winning entries were announced at the awards night. Krayon won following 5 awards.
1. Silver Award in the category of Best Product Launch (FMCG) for Acti -Grow Health Campaign
2. Bronze in the category of Best CSR Event or Enviroment Initative for Sinchana
3. Silver in the category of Best School Program for National Geographic's Green PlantÂ
4. Silver in the category of Best School Program for Horlicks Wiz Kids 2008
5. Silver in the category of Most Creative Use of a Small Budget for Sinchana
