Classmate Young Author Contest is India's only nation wide quest for young writing talent. A celebration of words, this contest aimed at providing students of Std. 8 to 12 a platform to showcase their talent of writing. It also aimed at enhancing creative writing skills of students by exposing them to a variety of edutainment activities like creative writing workshops, literary trip and interaction with multitude of literary greats like the revered Ruskin Bond! The event was conducted in 34 cities across India and culminated in a National Level competition at Mumbai where Shobha De and Farooque Sheik read out the stories of the finalists.

A book of the winning stories was published in association with Rupa & Co, which is edited by one of India's best loved writers - Ruskin Bond. He also headed the National Jury for Classmate Young Author Contest.

Classmate Young Artist Contest
This contest was a celebration of colours that gave the school community an opportunity to showcase the artistic talent of students. The contest was open for students from Std 5 to 8 and was held at school and city level in 34 cities. Winners won themselves trophies and gift hampers from Classmate. The best 40 paintings from all over the country were featured in painting exhibitions which were held in selected metros.
