Krayon Events manages a new activity for Intel
 
Intel, the world leader in silicon innovation, develops technologies, products and initiatives to continually advance how people work and live. Working along with their core mission of keeping the innovation economy moving into the future, Intel explores the minds of the future generation, the kids by a new initiative.

The activity is a unique fun-filled educational school contact program for students from classes 6 to 9, wherein they will be presenting the kids with an entertaining & informative program on the benefits of computers, and how it can help the students not only academically - but also in different aspects in their everyday life!

The activity will be an hour long workshop that will start with an AV about Intel and its superiority as a processor which will be followed by explaining to the kids the computer as a machine in detail. The second half of the presentation will concentrate on the internet, online education, particularly on a website powered by Intel 'www.skool.com'; the workshop will also talk about the importance of internet and computer in social networking, career guidance, e-governance and most important edutainment. At the end of the SCP, another AV will be shown to the kids that will showcase the superior visually sterling performance which can be achieved with the help of second generation Intel Core i5 Processor.

The workshop will be followed by a trivia based on the presentation and kids will be awarded with gifts and goodies on behalf of Intel on answering them correctly. The activity will reach out to sixty B Category & Government schools and approximately 40000 students across 6 cities namely Nasik, Pune, Nagpur, Indore, Baroda & Ahmedabad.

Krayon Events manages Dell-Microsoft Study Buddy
 
Dell, in association with Microsoft, initiated a school contact program titled 'Dell-Microsoft Study Buddy' in the first week of September. The program will be executed on-ground in two phases and will reach out to over 200 schools pan-India in each phase. The property has being conceptualised and is being executed on-ground by Krayon Events.

Commenting on associating with Dell and Microsoft for the initiative, Tabassum Modi, Director, Krayon Events said: "Dell and Microsoft together wanted to come up with a school contact program. They gave us a brief and post, our presentation, we were roped in to manage the Dell-Microsoft Study Buddy school contact program. The objective of the program is to engage kids with technology in a unique manner."

Commenting further on the school contact program, Modi added: "The event will be rolled out in two phases. The first phase will culminate at the end of September and after a short while, the second phase will follow. We have purposely kept a time gap between the two phases as we want to incorporate the learnings of phase one in phase two. The program will be taken to several category A and B schools, wherein students already possess basic computer knowledge, pan India."

At the Dell-Microsoft Study Buddy program, students will be asked to state their dreams in 50-100 words, using a computer in a unique manner. The entries generated by these young minds will then be evaluated by a qualified panel of judges. Students whose dream to make the difference is most grounded in reality will be asked to detail their dream plan in the form of a presentation within 30 days. After a series of elimination rounds, the top 10 students will go on to present their ideas at the grand finale, which is scheduled to be held in January 2012 at New Delhi. Students will also receive certificates and accolades for participation.
